I had a final monday morning. It wasn't that great of a morning. I thought I was going to pass out or worse have a seizure and have to deal with all that crap while on the metro on my way to the exam. What's worse than having to deal with seizures and neurologists in the US? I can only assume dealing with neurologists in France. Then I got to class I managed to sit down and pull myself together for 15 minutes before I felt I had to laydown- of course the test hall is not going to be the best place to do that so I go to the proctor and ask to leave. She immediately thinks I'm trying to cheat but I think she then realized that I looked probably like a zombie so she took me to the nurse. The nurse wasn't in yet but the operators -kinda like school concierges opened the door and let me lay down and the couch and wait for the nurse. But due to the snow-she was late. the nurse was also sick and she didn't speak english-bilingual school... but not bilingual nurse, brilliant! So I tried to explain to her how I felt she made me choke down some nasty chalky water mix to help calm my stomach etc. apparently they do not have pills in france because she also gave me another great chalky water mix to break my fever or something. So I spent an hour in the nurse's office before returning to the exam room where I swear the one proctor lady was watching over me like a hawk either thinking I was going to cheat or feint or possibly both. I managed to finish a crummy essay, it was in french-great because I feel like crap and I have to write an essay in a foreign language. It kinda reminded me of the essays you write for the AP exams I hope that it passes french standards. I suppose we'll find out.
One final down two to go. Yipee skipee.
